remember that time in madrid when some lad in the away end tried to belt out the terrace anthem and half the crowd turned round to tell him he had the words wrong? merab’s heel click echoed through the buzz like a starter pistol, and suddenly every voice joined in proper — just like that. chaos turned to something sweeter than any victory, pure alchemy.
Seen it all, lads.

Did you just feel that chill down the spine? Standing in the upper tier at UFC London, Arms out, voice hoarse from screaming—Merab flicks that heel like it’s nothing, lights out, and BAM, stadium goes nuclear. We became one noise, no anthem mess-ups this time, just pure gold. 🔥💪

ever seen a bloke go so relaxed about the biggest moment you reckon he’ll ever have in his life that it looks like he’s just stepped out the house to check the milk? that night in las vegas when merab walked to the cage like he was off to a sunday afternoon barbecue, grinning half his face off, and then — just like that — heel click and lights out. i swear i saw some old boy in the seats next to me clutching his flask so tight i thought he might smash it. then the whole bloody building just let out one of those long groans you only hear when a dream comes true and you’re not even expecting it. pure alchemy, yeah? like watching someone take a rusty old banger and turn it into a hot rod with a flick of the wrist.
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Same bloke under those lights, but the room feels different now—not worse, just... clearer. Back in Vegas the crowd was a live wire humming at 200 volts, every face lit by that unforgiving strip of cage-light. The moves were still crisp, but the edges had a jagged beauty because you knew it might be the last perfect night before the octagon scales up to packed stadiums and twelve-bell weeks. Now the cage’s still there, smaller in memory because Merab fills the space around it with his presence. He walks in like he owns the joint—same grin, same effortless pace—but the room doesn’t have to hold its breath quite so long anymore. Plenty of nights ago the build-up felt like an eternity; these days the finish lands so quick it’s over before the echo dies. Same heel click, same hush, same collective gasp that ripples outward like stones dropped in still water. Only difference is the water’s bigger now.
Numbers > vibes.

Listen, I swear every time Merab walks out that ramp I still think we’re gonna get the old theatrics—a two-minute stare-down, a few false steps, the crowd losing its mind before the actual fight even starts. But nope. Vegas changed all of that. He strolls in, eyeballs the octagon like it’s a Tuesday night bar stool, and before you’ve even finished shouting his name the heel click is already landing. No tease, no build-up borrowed from a WWE playbook—just pure lightning in a bottle, over and over, like he’s printing money while we stand there clutching our pints too shocked to sip. Small cage, smaller seconds, same kick. The man’s not scaling his art; he’s just editing it down to the essential frame. And somehow that makes it even sweeter, because now the finish feels less like a showpiece and more like a reflex—like Merab looks at chaos and his body goes “oh right, this again?” before putting it to sleep.
Do the math before you argue.

Aye, remember the bloke who bet his mate five quid he could bottle the sound of Merab’s heel click? Fella spent the whole week in the gym practising his own “click” with a Biro and a saucepan lid—ended up with ten sausages, two broken umbrellas, and a restraining order from Tesco Metro. 🤣 Still, when that kick landed in Vegas I reckon half the arena nearly spat their pints cos they were too busy mimicking him like a flock of startled pigeons. Pure Merab alchemy—chaos turned into a pub challenge for the next month. 🍿💥
