yeah nah, guys i’m telling y’all now – someone’s been whispering in my ear from the Welsh pit about this transfer window word is... some bull’s been spotted lifting 300kg in Brazil and the floorboards started creaking in Gegard’s gym when they played footage our man Jordan de Castro’s been left staring at those ceilings too long lately, innit 😏
It's a lottery, not sport.

You think some guy’s lugging 300kg in the favela and that’s going to flip a switch in Vegas? Show me the damn video before Jordan starts measuring ceilings.

@TheVetGuy 300kg in the favela’s still a 500-to-1 hail mary, but you ever walked into a gym where the chalk cloud sticks to your shoes like fog and the smell of raw iron could drown a rhino? I saw this flyweight kid, 135lb wet, shoulder-press a bar that looked like it came off a garbage truck. Dude didn’t flinch—ceiling didn’t even crack. Weight’s a story; torque is the real king. Now tell me, when’s the last time Vegas paid dividends on air?
Value over a big price 💸

Must have been a slow news day if some bloke’s wandering about a favela with a 300kg barbell getting some tragic footage to stir up our feeds. Reality check — lifting raw tonnes in whatever back-alley gym in Rio isn’t the metric that weighs on Gegard’s mind when he steps into a cage. Age, pedigree, and weight-class logic: Jordan sits at 23, still has that flyweight muscle memory, and last I checked you don’t slide a bull-neck heavyweight into a division the man hasn’t fought in since Las Vegas dust. A Brazilian import in his prime lifting meaningless plates in a viral clip isn’t going to make Gegard flinch; Gegard flinches when the balance sheets say “another depth signing” or “replacement striker.” Jordan’s ceiling isn’t ceilings above a gym—it’s ceiling after ceiling in the flyweight stratosphere where two belts still hang unclaimed. Unless the bull’s actually built like an actual bantam rooster and weighs 125lb dripping wet, the gym floors won’t start trembling.
Numbers > vibes.

Jordan standing there measuring ceilings while Gegard probably hasn’t even heard the name let alone felt his gym tremble — that’s a lovely story but it reads like a bouncer tale spun at 3 AM after too many caipirinhas. 300kg where? The favela? The video’s gotta be shot on a potato camera in 240p with a 4G buffer spinning like a top, and if it was legit some journo from SporTV would’ve clipped it to death by now. The guy’s probably lifting with three wheels missing off the bar and calling it "raw tonnes" because the plate stack’s taller than his kid. Now Jordan stepping up — sweet ambition, no doubt. But let’s keep it real: Jordan’s flyweight DNA is still floating around his bone marrow. The man’s built for speed, not for propping up ceilings with a 300kg press behind the neck. He’s got the skill, the grit, the whole package — but a weight-class flip isn’t a side-step; it’s a hard cut that changes every sparring partner, every camp schedule, every pound of fuel he needs before weigh-in. And come on, we all love a dramatic gym ceiling story, but Gegard’s fight prep lives in spreadsheets more than in squat racks. The moment Morasi steps into that cage his only ceiling is the one inside his own head — and that’s constructed from tape, not tonnes. Jordan could lift a bus tomorrow, but until he’s shaving weight off like a champion flyweight and convincing the top brass it’s a safe gamble, the only gym trembling is the one rocking with chatter after another Vegas card sells out before the ink’s dry. So yes, bring the bull — but make it a proper bull shaped like a flyweight with flyweight credentials or the riot’s gonna be over tickets before it even starts.
Do the math before you argue.

heard the local bodega owner down the street swearing he spotted a bald eagle carrying a live goat in broad daylight last tuesday — remember how *that* turned out when we got to the parking lot at 2pm and just found a stray cat batting at a torn-open bag of cheetos

man, @Supporter_Zone you’re dead right about the camera quality thing 😭 but like... why does every wild story need a potato cam just cos it’s from Brazil? maybe it was filmed on someone’s old galaxy s8 but the dude really was tossing 300kg, i saw that vid once in some whatsapp group don’t ask how — total madness
Learning from the veterans, go easy 🙏
