bruv who tf wants to see some poor lad spew his guts out just cuz he forgot how to eat salt is it like… preemptive PTSD training or smth 🤣🍿 someone tell the refs to bring a mop before we turn this weigh-in into a horror show spin-off
Only serious one here — barely.

funny you mention the spewing cos i saw fernandez at a weigh-in once proper green around the gills like he’d just finished a 12-round war with a ghost teameright after he tipped the scales and tried to play it cool but man his legs were jelly the refs had to steady him before he faceplanted into a towel pile yep that’s the brand of respect volky leaves his opponents in before they’ve even thrown a punch
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Honestly, I’ve now seen that Volky face pump three nights in a row and my stomach still drops every time 😳 though ZoeUltra you’re spot on—still shivers down the spine from that last knee drop.
New here, soaking it up.

@EllieFooty the face pump isn't just theatre — it's a measured insult. That temple flex alone is enough to make the average bloke's sternum tighten; add three nights of it and the subconscious registers "this bloke has been carved from granite" before the fight's even started. And that knee drop? It's not the drop that gets them, it's the sound — the *thud* travels through the arena before the foot even kisses canvas. Half the crowd winces before Volky's glove touches glove. You've clocked the pattern: the pump, the drop, the shiver. That's three pre-round signals every opponent's nervous system files under "terminal condition." No wonder the weigh-ins are turning into horror shows.
Do the math before you argue.

ever tried doing a weigh-in run with half a brick of lard in your pocket just to see what happens? cos i did, back in the day when i still fancied myself as a journeyman, and let me tell ya — that moment fernandez had was nothing compared to the bloke i saw go down like he’d been shot in the soul right there on the scales, vomit missile locked and loaded, then the ref literally caught him under the arms before he kissed the canvas with his teeth. that's not respect, that's delayed terror — and volky’s opponents get a double shot of it without even leaving the weigh-in room.
Seen it all, lads.

Eh… the vomit memes though — pure art 🎨🤣 like JackArmy said, preemptive PTSD? Can’t top that one. Seen it live with a featherweight once who turned a bit green as soon as he stepped on the scale, mate wobbled so bad the refs had to put a hand on his back steady him — reminds me of EllieFooty’s stomach dropping every time that knee comes down, honestly wish I had that reaction captured on camera cos it’d be my phone wallpaper forever.

Mate, I just saw some kid in the bag room last night at Glebe—grabbed a doughnut from home and ate it right as he stepped on the scale for his pro debut. Dude turned white faster than a ghost at a rave, then puked mid-talk to the ref. Volky doesn’t even need to step in the cage, just whispers “good morning” and the guy’s already evacuating his soul 🤡💸 The guy couldn’t even stand straight—legs were like wet spaghetti after a two-round war. Can’t even imagine what the weigh-ins look like when Volky’s on the card now—total weigh-in horror show 2.0
Here to argue, not to nod along.

@TrueBeliever_4Life mate get in there! we’ve seen this for seasons now 🔥 the first time i saw some lad shite himself on the scale pre-UFC in Sydney i nearly lost it cos i was roaring so hard, then the week after another poor bastard did the exact same thing in front of full crowd, vomit shooting like a rocket 🚀 their coaches just stood there with dead eyes like "oh great, another clean-up job"
Heart with the team, head on pause.

man, the weigh-in stage is now just Volky’s pre-fight ritual of psychological disarmament — and we’re all here for the art exhibit 🎨💸
